What is the typical payback period for commercial rooftop solar in India?

The typical ROI payback period for commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftop solar in India ranges between 2.5 to 3.5 years, delivering up to 70% reduction in grid electricity costs. LMD International designs systems to maximize annual kWh generation yield using PVsyst sun-path simulations, high-efficiency TopCon bifacial modules, and multi-MPPT string inverters that deliver lifetime power generation over 25+ years.

Does LMD International provide turnkey Solar EPC or only equipment supply?

LMD International delivers complete turnkey EPC services including site feasibility, structural engineering analysis, Discom CEIG statutory approvals, net metering grid synchronization, civil/electrical construction, and long-term O&M. Simultaneously, we serve as a master distributor offering bulk wholesale supply of Tier-1 solar modules, string inverters, LiFePO4 BESS storage, BOS components, and EN 795 safety lifelines across India and the Middle East.

What is an EN 795:2012 certified solar rooftop lifeline system?

An EN 795:2012 Type C certified lifeline is a permanent horizontal fall-arrest cable system designed specifically for rooftop solar maintenance and O&M safety. LMD International engineers and installs stainless steel SS316 cable systems engineered to absorb up to 12 kN of impact force, protecting maintenance personnel across standing seam, trapezoidal metal sheets, and ballasted concrete roofs without voiding roof warranties.

What geographic regions does LMD International serve for solar EPC projects?

LMD International serves major industrial corridors across India including Delhi NCR, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad, Neemrana, Ghaziabad, and key manufacturing belts across Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu. For equipment supply and export, we actively supply solar BOS components and industrial spares to clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.

What solar equipment and BOS components does LMD International supply?

LMD International supplies Tier-1 ALMM and BIS approved bifacial TopCon solar modules (540W–700Wp+), commercial multi-MPPT string inverters (50kW–350kW), LiFePO4 BESS battery storage (50kWh–2MWh), 11kV/33kV transformer substations, copper-bonded chemical earthing electrodes, ESE lightning arrestors, DC/AC solar cables, MC4 connectors, IP65 ACDB/DCDB panels, and anti-slip FRP walkways.

How does LMD International ensure engineering quality and regulatory compliance?

All equipment is sourced from MNRE approved and ALMM/BIS listed OEMs with IEC 61215/62109 TUV certifications. LMD International holds ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification, and all installations undergo CPRI-tested fault-current compliance audits. Statutory clearances include CEIG electrical inspectorate approvals, DISCOM bi-directional net metering synchronization, and European EN 795:2012 certification for working-at-height lifelines.

How does the solar net metering and CEIG statutory approval process work?

LMD International handles the entire statutory lifecycle end-to-end: from initial feasibility filing and SLD (Single Line Diagram) submission with local DISCOMs to Chief Electrical Inspector to Government (CEIG) inspection, transformer synchronisation, bi-directional net meter installation, and commissioning certificate issuance, ensuring 100% compliance with state solar policies.

What warranties and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) guarantees are provided?

Our installations feature a 25 to 30-year linear performance warranty on Tier-1 PV modules (guaranteeing >=80-87% power output at year 25/30), 5 to 10-year OEM warranties on commercial string inverters (extendable to 20 years), a 5-year workmanship warranty on EPC installation, and optional comprehensive SCADA-monitored O&M contracts with guaranteed performance ratio (PR >= 78-82%).
